Network security will become more distributed through virtual firewalls, virtual private networks (VPNs), data loss prevention, and more.

Reason for use: Companies typically use firewalls to secure proprietary information and prevent unauthorized access to their networks. Many firewalls are deployed around corporate headquarters via a physical appliance. Remote work will increase the need for network security distributed to employees in other parts of the country and globe.
